The place I grew up was about 40 miles up river from a pulp and paper mill - when we got the rotten turnip smell we knew it was gonna rain.
Re: the power of the blogosphere over the MSM, I don’t see it as a bad thing (at least not at this point) - they need outsiders to hodl them accountable.
